The kids have been doing well. They haven't really talked about missing Seattle, I guess that's good. They only have each other to play with and luckily they get along pretty well. Grace loves to take care of Jake, teach him things and almost always be the leader. Jake just likes to have fun. When Grace is busy, his favorite thing is lining up his cars on the stairs. Their personalities work well together.

We've got a number of options to get out of the house and be around other kids including the pool, kids club at the gym, McDonalds playground, and storytime. I've also found a drop-in daycare place that was just opened by our landlords very good friend. It's really nice and brand new, the kids have been twice now while I had doctor's appointments. We have signed Grace up for two weeks of swimming starting next week at the rec center and the city soccer program that starts later in August.
We have met several neighbors, but mostly the neighborhood is very very quiet.
