President's Day weekend, we went on a ski trip to Winter Park, CO. There were 15 of us in a 5 bedroom house. It was crowded, but fun. The mountains were absolutely beautiful and the weather was mostly good. We skied, went sledding and had family time. There was also one night of fun game playing and one dinner out.
The house was in a neighborhood about 15 minutes from Winter Park. It was in a beautiful setting and we got an amazing sunrise one morning.
The house had a driveway that was a little steep and challenging for our front wheel drive rental car, but perfect for the kids to sled down. There was even a nice soft snow pile at the end to crash into. Jake made dozens of trip down the hill.
Grace did ski school for a day and had a lot of fun, then skied with Matt for a day.
Jake got to do a lot of sledding, ride some lifts and watch a lot of movies! We had a nice family day where we spent some time at a free sledding hill in town....
and then rode the lift up the mountain to have lunch at the lodge. The view was spectacular!
