Olmsted Falls Hike
Last Sunday morning we didn't have much to do, so after coffee we decided to go on a family hike. There's not a lot of options around here, but we decided on a spot that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.
Olmsted Falls is a really cute town about 20 minutes away. It has a a really nice park area by a river with several trails and lots of big rocks for the kids to climb on. Jake loved the freedom to run around and took the lead most of the morning.
The town had a nice coffee shop and even a historic train the kids could climb on!

Trip to Kansas (Kyle's Wedding)
We recently had a quick, but nice trip to Kansas. Matt and I went to his cousin Kyle's wedding and the kids got a lot of grandparent and cousin time. The whole trip went well, our rental car got upgraded to a minivan and the flights were both really easy.
On the first day we visited a fun playground in Kansas City called Penguin Park. It was a fun place to let the kids run around after a plane ride and before a long car ride. That evening we went to cousin Cole's high school football game.

Saturday was relaxing at Nannies. We visited a playground with the kids and played with cousins. The wedding reception at "The Barn" was fun and Matt got to visit with a lot of family.
Sunday we headed to Papa's to ride the 4-wheeler, tractor, sack swing and visit the cows.

We headed out early Monday morning and got to see the sunrise on our way to the airport.
